Join us for the BARS Monthly Meeting at the Lions Club in Jacksonville Beach. Social hour starts at 6:30 P.M., meeting starts at 7:00 P.M..
We have a another very interesting meeting scheduled for this month covering the very popular Lithium Iron Phosphate battery system (LiFePO4). The program is being presented by Chuck Halverson, KA3EHL, a member of the Orange Park Amateur Radio Club. All our members are encouraged to bring to the meeting any type of LiFePO4 batteries they are using with their station as well! Several of us have been using the lightweight Powerwerx LiFePO4 “Battery In A Box” setup with the optional metering and Solar Cell with good success. Chuck will give us more details on this type battery and its applications in Ham Radio.
Chuck requests everyone to bring their LiFePO4 battery to share with the club (if applicable).
